The LG BD370 is Definately a MediaTek MT8520 as shown in the attached screenshot of the firmware in winhex.

Here is the LG BD390 (NTFS capable) firmware (.ROM): http://www.sendspace.com/file/9skqxh

The LG BD390 is also a meditek MT8520 according to: http://www.anandtech.com/show/3767/media-streamer-platforms-roundup/3

The LG BD390 supports NTFS!

Neither the LG BD350/390 found "8520" when i used the search in winhex, it found it in the LG BD370 though.

The JVC XV-BP1 has a MT8520 too:

Only support FAT32 on USB....

Please hack the MT8520 firmwares to support NTFS!
